Car Insurance Ford (Car Insurance). Can I fit 22 inch rims on my Lincoln mkz ?Can I fit 22 inch rims on my Lincoln mkz ? You can make anything fit, but anything over a 20" will require modifications that will be very costly. You will undoubtedly ruin the ride of the car too, plus if you hit a pot hole your probably going to have to replace the rim as it will bend. I wouldn't go anything bigger than a 20 with a 35 series tire unless you have thousands to burn. Why? 1)No you couldn't. MAYBE 20 inch rims Auto parts : Mirror Hardware Acura 1995 . Ford . Any Corvette owners out there? Any Corvette owners out there? Okay, so I'm about to turn 18 in a few months, and my grandparents left me a little money. I'm going to pay for my college with it, but I want a little something nice for once. My family never had anything nicer than a 2007 PT Cruiser, and that got repossessed a few months after they bought it. So, I've put a lot of thought into this and I've decided I want a Corvette. I've had my heart set on one ever since I was little, and I'm finally going to be able to get one. Now I don't want to go all out buying a new one or something, I'm not planning on spending more than 30,000 on it. But I'd just like to know, (from the people that own one) about how much does it cost to maintain one and have. About how much does insurance run, I know it's pretty expensive, but I've never had any wrecks or been pulled over... granted I've only been driving 3 years now. I won't be driving it THAT much, but potentially everyday for maybe 20 miles or so on average. So for any owners out there, do you think it would be an okay investment for a student to buy one? Also, do they hold up well for someone that would be driving it everyday pretty much? Thanks in advance, anything you can tell me would be a big help! :) car insurance. Ford . How to Install Fog Lights on a Honda AccordHonda Accord automobiles sometimes require more forward illumination, and can benefit from the addition of fog lamps. The installation of fog lights can provide as much as 55 watts of energy to cut through low-level humidity and extreme driving conditions, and come in a variety of colors and shapes. The average backyard mechanic can install a pair of fog lights to an Accord in about 30 minutes. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Wire stripper/cutter Electrical tape Screwdriver Fog light kit Step by Step : 1 Choose a position for the fog lights by holding them in different locations on the front bumper area. This is important, because it will determine the light path, angle and the illuminated area. The closer to the center they are, the tighter the beam pattern will be. The farther out they are, the wider the pattern will be (and not as focused). The tighter pattern will function as long-distance high beams, and the wider pattern makes a better fog or driving light. 2 Mount the fog lights into position by drilling small holes to accommodate the mounting brackets. Most Honda Accords have optional fog light areas on the lower section of the bumper skirt, covered by plastic fillers. By removing these filler panels (they pop out towards the front), the space can be used for the aftermarket lights, and should already have mounting points directly above them. Screw the mount brackets into position, then bolt in the fog light. Point them in a general direction, as they cannot be aimed with accuracy until they work. 3 Wire the lights by running the light gauge positive terminal wire from one fog light to the other, splicing them together with a third wire running to the interior dashboard. The light brackets should be grounded to the frame of the car, and as Accord bumpers are plastic, a negative wire must be run from both brackets to a grounding location. Some lights will have a separate negative wire, which can be grounded. Inside the car, take the one positive lead and run it through a switch to a hot terminal in the fuse panel. Accords have their fuses located to the left of the driver's side, underneath a dashboard panel. Select a non-critical system, like "Acc" or "Radio," and push the lead wire into one side of the fuse's pin. This will complete a circuit with the fog lights, and they should both light up when the switch is flipped. Wrap all splices with a liberal amount of electrical tape. 4 Conceal the wiring by tucking it into crevices or securing it to the underside of the bumper skirt, and mount the switch to a convenient place on the dashboard panel. The switch type can vary, but typically they will have bezels that can be screwed into plastic with minimal effort. 5 Aim the fog lights by turning them on and tightening the bracket bolt while they are pointed correctly. The bolt tightens in a clockwise direction, but should not be overtightened. The fog lights should not bounce or move while in motion, but they might become damaged from brackets that are too tight. Tips & Warnings Connecting the fog lights to a fuse gives better protection than a direct battery connection, and can even be "automatic" when starting the vehicle. Use caution when working on a vehicle's electrical system.
Ford . How to Install Hyundai Fog LightsThe fog lights on your Hyundai may need to be replaced every year because fog lights burn out over time with regular use. The part number for the replacement fog light is stamped on the base of the old fog light. Replacement fog lights can be purchased from most auto parts stores or directly from Hyundai. Once you have the new light, you'll need to know how to install it. Installation should take no longer than 10 minutes. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Screwdriver Step by Step : 1 Open the hood and remove the screws on the back of the fog light housing. 2 Pull the fog light housing forward from the front of the vehicle. 3 Remove the electrical connector from the back of the fog light ballast. 4 Remove the bail wire holding the fog light in place. 5 Remove the fog light by pulling it straight out. On some Hyundai vehicles, you will need to push in on the fog light and turn it counterclockwise and then pull it out of the housing. 6 Align the tabs on the replacement fog light with the notches cut into the housing on the Hyundai's fog light assembly. 7 Insert the fog light and, if necessary, turn the fog light clockwise to lock it into the housing. Replace the bail wire to hold the fog light securely in place. 8 Slide the fog light assembly back in toward the frame of the vehicle and thread and tighten the retaining screws. Tips & Warnings For specific information on installing your Hyundai fog lights, consult the particular vehicle's manual (see Resources). Dealerships <\V tr When they buy a new vehicle, many people assume that they have to use the dealership's service facilities, at least until the warranty period is over. Be aware that, in most cases, you can have warranty service (but not repairs) done by any licensed independent mechanic, as long as all the service requirements in your owner's manual are fulfilled. (There are some exceptions, so read your warranties before going elsewhere for specialized work.) Of course, you may want to stay with the dealer who sold you the vehicle, because dealerships may offer the following advantages: * They often provide extra services to ensure goodwill. Not only can they make more profit on years of service to your vehicle, but they also want you to come back to them when it's time to buy another one. * They usually have a variety of factory-trained specialists right on the premises. The advantage is that you can have brake work, transmission work, and sometimes even bodywork done at the same place. Ford . What is the size for parking a saloon car?
Dodge Neon. * * They stock a wide variety of original parts and equipment (OEM) made specifically for your vehicle. This not only assures you of satisfaction if parts fail, but original parts may increase the resale value of your vehicle. * If you have a complaint, you're dealing with an established company that's financially able to reimburse you and that's insured to cover any major lawsuits that may result. However, dealerships have disadvantages to consider as well: u* Dealerships are often more expensive than other types of service facilities. Independent shops usually have a lower overhead to support. i*" The sales and service departments of a dealership are often operated as separate entities. You may find that the service department doesn't really care all that much about your goodwill and whether you buy another vehicle from the dealership. Instead, the attitude may be, "We have more work than we can handle, so if you're not happy here, you can go somewhere else." Ford . What are car roofs made of?

You generally deal with a service writer at the dealership who then assigns your car to whichever technician is available when its number comes up. Of course, if you build a good relationship with the service writer, he or she may honor your request for a specific technician who is familiar with your vehicle and its foibles. Chain and department stores Large chain stores and department stores that have automotive service departments offer another set of pros and cons: They're generally less expensive than dealerships. They usually stock a wide variety of parts, many of which are made to their specifications and carry their brand name. How these parts compare in price and quality to the original equipment supplied by the car manufacturer varies, depending on which chain you deal with. The only time you absolutely don't want to use anything but original equipment is when you're restoring a classic car. They usually provide good guarantees on parts and labor. And if you Ford .
